Steve Golley is a Self Shooting Producer Director with experience crafting television programmes across a number of genres including documentaries and new reality series. Steve has filmed with some incredible characters in his 3 years producing/directing and prides himself on being able to rub shoulders with people from all walks of life. During his career he has filmed with grime artists discussing pertinent issues within the music industry - major online talent, performing football tricks in front of Europe's most prestigious landmarks - and recently spent 4 months in Dubai filming with Luxury Real Estate brokers.
Steve can bring to any production an eye for storytelling and getting the best out of people who may be either very experienced or totally alien to appearing on camera.

Humour in my experience is the most natural way of forming relationships however sometimes, especially if you're making a sensitive access doc, people might need lots of reassurance, it's all about understanding personalities, reading the room and being aware what type of content you're making. Everyone is different.
Steve can confidently capture 'run and gun' action attending potentially hostile scenarios during the early hours and can also produce/direct more structured setups where there is a larger emphasis on visual style and story arcs. He has often been referred to as an excellent shooter with a natural eye for framing.
He particularly relishes the creative aspect of a new series, getting to grips with the content and assembling appropriate style guides which help to give programmes their identity.
